What is stomach cancer

Stomach cancer, which is also called gastric cancer, is a develops when the cells in any part of stomach grow and divide abnormally. The cancer can develop in any part of the stomach and other organ.

 

Cause of stomach cancer

  • Having a history of the Helicobacter pylori infection, gastric ulcers are increasing risk of stomach cancer.
  • Eating fermented food
  • Chronic gastritis
  • Smoking, and alcohol consumption.
  • Family history were diagnosed stomach cancer
  • Overweight

 

Sign and symptoms of stomach cancer

Early stage of stomach cancer may not appear significant sign may have triggered by conditions such as abdominal pain, black-colored feces, blood in vomit, weight loss, and loss of appetite.

 

Diagnosis of stomach cancer

During a gastroscopy the have flexible tube with small camera will put in your mouth, throat, and stomach to look any problems. Is found suspected problem will biopsy during procedure and laboratory check for cancer.

  • Burning sensation in the stomach first time and age >50 years old
  • Unintentional weight loss
  • Black colored feces
  • Burning sensation in the stomach and family history were diagnosed stomach cancer
